yea thats something i dont understand at all
lets say you have another forum or source that is publicly available to everyone not even going into the reuploading stuff from another forum to it
why would someone post direct download links from that forum on this forum for no reason no one asked for the card or anything
and the fact the person that posted those links knows that those are uploads that were taken from this forum is mind boggling on top of that
like if there is a new card of something i can understand but straight up uploading reuploads from another source is weird
(even having hard time explaining it because how weird of a situation it is
)

the major problem with that telegram group and its kind is they try to play as if they are the source of the cards they "make sure" you can get those cards and try to take credit and to people like our great brother @wmfrpa that's just taking credit away from the time effort and even money thats stealing credit and taking away from his hard work

Perhaps it's time to encrypt and package the uploaded files. The password of the compressed package is the id of the uploader on this channel or the network domain name of the channel to indicate their origin
Although this will add some steps to the upload and download process, it is better than allowing those forum websites that take resources for free to merely rely on reposting resources to gain popularity and advertisers' praise
The so-called free resource sharing channels of tele have more advertisements than resource links every day.
I think they must have lost too many relatives in their family, so they have to earn a lot of money to buy coffins

Hard to stop reuploaders NGL, at least non being sold like anime Cards, some resellers have created a havoc on pixiv and pateron groups and yeah many resellers and reuplaoders are lurking here to grab the opportunity

He still has my files and has created a download link under his own name, and the link is still active.
Still, since he took the time to create the link, I don’t want it to be deleted
I just hope he’ll at least consider my requests 😔

The best one for like Permanent Marking will be just saving The card on charmaker with your Name or Code so that whoever resells /reupload will know its yours or gor kinda tedious method just Use ChatGpt, upload the card and tell make 252×352 size image with watermark(your name) and replace the card image

I humbly suggest trying not giving a fuck. We are all dealing in stolen property from individuals who do not have the rights to sell their creations they made on a dead game. We are pirates, through and through. Do we have a code? Sure, we try to give credit to sources and be appreciative of those, like yourself, who are generous with their plunder or what they pay for, to not trade or barter here, to not beg, to give creators who release their stuff for free eventually some grace time... these are the unwritten rules we try to live by. But, we are not perfect and we make mistakes. Trust me when I tell you that you are barking up the wrong tree with Izu, a creator and fellow pirate that contributes to this community. We pirates deal with a lot of data and sometimes we miss a credit or source, mistakenly uploading something or sharing something that we got from somewhere else. It happens. He even apologized even though he never uploaded it it telegram, just got it from there and posted it in a new gofile not knowing it was from your original post. He isn't the problem. It is the hundreds or thousands of lurkers, the resellers, and the traders that taint the community. I highly doubt you bought every card you share in your admittedly great posts, and even the free cards you link don't always link to the original creators upload site. So, I suggest taking a deep breath, accepting this is the nature of our hobby, accepting the appreciation we all have for you, and letting this go for all our sakes. Thank you wmfrpa and Izu for your contributions.

yea starting to modify cards files and stuff is honestly a bit too far
there is no real way to stop resellers and such it will honestly only make it more of an hustle for normal and regular forum users
the only way i see reselling decreasing is more people finding out about this forum but that comes with more risks of certain card authors nuking links

Everyone here knows it can't be easy to put in the amount of effort you do to give us so many choices. Whenever we share anything we acknowledge that someone might reupload or even pretend to be the original poster. It does hurt when it is done with ill intent. However the reason we share is to help one another access content we would not be able get otherwise. I would not have even 25% of the cards I like if it was not for this forum and the others. We are just a community who likes Koikatsu content. I'm very tired sorry if this sounded like nonsense.
