my knowledge with photoshop is very basic and i never used coredraw :/ but i give it a shoot. what should i do there paint the skin with a brush? increase brightness? also what is the name of the file i must mess with? tyvm

different modder usually use different name also different format so i dont remember each exact name but for ylsama hanying case u only need to export 2 file, "cf_0_face_UV_map" and "cf_M_face_00".
based on the UV map u can see that other than the face skin it also contain eyeline, tang and teeth so u need to isolated those so it wont get edited.
warning: ylsama headmod need more work since he make all the face part in 1 png, it easy to track but pain to edit without editing software.

i make 1 copy of cf_M_face_00, the copy got it brightness increase while the original stay on its original color.
with coreldraw, i do 2 things,
1. cf_M_face_00 original got it face skin removed leaving behind eyeline, teeth etc while keeping the face skin transparent.
2. cf_M_face_00 copy got layered with my preferred skin color with (usually) 50% transparency.

after that i put layered cf_M_face_00 copy on the bottom order while the cf_M_face_00 original on top order making a new png with lighter skin color and still original eyeline etc color.

i have little to no experience with other editing software so i cant help with those...

i assume its a modded hair not ingame hair then either it use custom png that u need to extract and edited urself
or the shader or slider on material editor arent compatible with ur setting and needed to be adjusted.
also on some case modded hair doesnt include it default maintex (like solityl and lor hair) so u need original cloth or chara card to get those.
